Rainbow

Last Tuesday, I saw a rainbow and I don't know, just thought that I would take pictures of it. It is one of the most beautiful rainbow I've seen. When you stand in the middle of the street, you can see the full arc. It made me reminisce my childhood. Just after the rain, my friends and I would look for a rainbow and we would smile everytime we saw one. Sarap ng walang iniisip kung kelan maglalaro hehehe

Wafer-Graham Refrigerated Cake

Wala lang. Trip-trip lang last Sunday, made my favorite dessert again. This time, I made sure na I crushed the wafer before placing it in the tray, last time kasi, I did crush it kaya ang resulta, ang kunat. Pero ngaun, I can say that it's better than the one that I did before. The cake in the picture doesnt look that yummy tho.

Wala lang natutuwa lang ako sa pusa namin. Kahit saan nakakatulog. Buti pa ung pusa, walang iniisip na problema. haay...

8 months later

It's been 8 months since my last blog. Whew, dami nangyari, most of them gusto ko na kalimutan.

Some of the things that I can't forget though and I really enjoyed are the following (wala lang maglilista lang ako ala "Ang Pinaka...")

1. Attend Philippine Madrigal Singers Concert at the CCP
A very wow experience... Kahit na medyo katakot dun sa pwesto namin. Ciempre ung tig-three hundred na ticket lang ang afford ng lola, kaya andun kami sa balcony, na sobrang taas... as in, konting galaw lang kala mo mahuhulog ka na. Pero ok lang, kasi sobrang ganda ng concert nila, as in. From the first song to the last one, you will be amazed talaga. When the audience requested for more...more talaga binigay nila. Sana meron pa part two.

2. Swimming sa Zambales
Thanks to our boss and his in-laws, we were able to enjoy a day in the beach. Meron pa stargazing ng gabi.


3. Marathon, Marathon
Sarap mag-stay sa bahay lalo na pag meron ka minamarathon na tv series. Natapos ko na Alias, Grey's Anatomy at Coffee Prince, Hanayori Dango, Bambino. Sa susunod na mahabang bakasyon baka 24, CSI, or Hana Kimi naman. Too bad lang na hanggang season 5 lang ang Alias, ang ganda pa naman ng concept ng show. Hope to see more of Jen Gardner and Michael Vartan soon.

4. Manood ng Chef to Go
Hay naku, ever since this show started in QTV, inaabangan ko na to every Sunday. It is a really good cooking show, you'll learn a lot from the host. Not to mention ang cute pa niya ang works well with his guest :)

5. Prepared Mock Exam for my Brother.
His board exam will be on Nov. 20, kaya ang ate, gawa ng mga sample problems - exam style. Hay, ngaun ko lang na-realize ung ibang lessons namin nakalimutan ko na, so parang naging review ko na rin ung ginawa ko. Naalala ko tuloy kung gaan kahirap magreview para sa board exam.

6. Learn Advance Flash
One of the best things that I did. Dami na ako naiisip na application, ideas are pouring in, kailangan ko lang more time and upload everything on the net hehehe. One at a time siguro. Pero talagang nag-eenjoy ako habang gumagawa ako ng mga flash files :)

My Top 10 Asian Series part 1

1. FULL HOUSE
One of the BEST. Story of a very two unlikely persons who will eventually fall for each other. Isang super sikat na actor at isang nagbabasakaling writer na titira sa isang bahay ang main story ng series. Super favorite ko talaga tong series na to kahit na 90% of the show eh nagbabangayan ang bida. May chemistry kasi si Song Hye Kyo at Rain, kaya nag-click sila. It is also because of this series that I found new friends. Pare-pareho kasi kaming addict sa Full House at lahat kami nangangarap na magkatuluyan si Hye Kyo at Ji-Hoon. Dahil din dito, na-inspire akong gumawa ng mga wallpapers, animated gifs, videos at kung anu-ano pa. Dahil sa Full House, marami akong natutunan na nagagamit ko na ngaun sa work.

2. JuMong
The longest series, I've seen so far. Pero ok lang, the best din. The love between JuMong and So Seo No for me is really great. Inaabangan ko talaga ito sa GMA7. Kahit late na ito pinapalabas go watch pa rin hehehe. Even my father and brother, hook na hook dito. Kaka-miss na nga.

Disappointed

After watching the telecast of Star Struck last night, I felt disappointed. I dunno, it's just after they announced the winners, I kept asking myself, "Why? Why? Really?" I don't have anything against the winners, it's just that I feel something is not right. Well, let's just see how these new "artistas" fare in their respective careers. Good Luck to all of you!

One Down

Yah! I have finished the the 52 episodes of Fushigi Yuugi. I really cried on the part where Nuriko died...One down anime to marathon, several more to go.

Following Instructions

Last Saturday, I had this craving for my favorite dessert, choco graham tiramisu. However I wanted to make this variation (thanks Angie for the idea btw :D), so instead of 2 packs of graham crackers, I thought of replacing one with a pack of choco wafer. (choco pa rin naman un! :D). However I'm not that keen of going out, so I asked my nice (ahem!) younger brother to buy the ingredients for me on his way home. But since nakikisuyo lang ako, wala ako magawa kundi maghintay. Dumating ung pinabili ko around 2 a.m. na (Good thing there's 7-Eleven :) )

Finally, the ingredients were all there, ready to "cook" na! While checking on the all purpose cream, I found this recipe using choco wafers at the back of the label. (Hmmm! Sakto!). The instruction said to crush the wafer and add as another layer, but too lazy to crush them, I just added the wafers. Finally its done, I placed it in the freezer and waited for the "right time".

At last, the "time" has come. I sliced the "cake" and placed it on my plate. But what the *@#% ! I can't slice the wafer with my fork. Duh! It's too makunat...maybe I should have crushed it. Baka kaya ganun ung instructions. Haay! Ayan, charge it to experience na naman. Still it tasted good, so ok na rin. I just have to separate the wafer from the graham... so I can slice and eat the graham and just eat the whole wafer. Di bale, may next time pa naman (I asked my brother to buy 2 sets of ingredients, just in case... :D)

What to do

Whew! I just spent an hour and a half changing the font color of my blog only to find out that it would automatically change when you change your template. Duh! Some lessons need to be learned the hard way...

I wanted to sleep, but I can't. I need to wake up early tomorrow, but my energy level is still up. Hmmm, maybe I should visit forums I used to frequent. Kind of missed them actually.

Somehow

Its been a while, since I posted here. Too busy? Not really, its just I dont feel like blogging until tonight.

Waah! I missed an episode of JuMong tonight. Its currently shown in the Philippines thru GMA7 and I have been watching it every night. Its because of it, that I learned how to decline working so late in the office and avoiding gimiks hehehe. What can I do? I really love that show. It has the same impact on me as that of Full House.

Finally, after so many months now, I was able to have a copy of Vanness' latest album, SCANDAL. Its a collaboration between Vanness and the Korean singer, Kangta. I must say I'm glad I bought the album. Hope many more will come.
